KRCT's IPR & IPM Cell has crossed 241 granted patents (out of 550 published) across 2017–2026, alongside 64 copyrights and 120 industrial designs.

KRCT's NCC sub-unit (Army Wing) was raised in 2025, affiliated to 2 (TN) Armd. Sqn NCC, Trichy. The unit now hosts 54 cadets across senior division.
